We handcrafted the Octopus for newborns and premature babies in our workshop in the Czech Republic. It has been found that the tentacles of octopuses resemble the umbilical cord to prematurely born babies. Babies tend to grasp, and having the tentacles nearby prevents them from pulling on inserted probes or other tubes. They feel safer, calmer, and consequently, more stable and thrive better. The crocheted octopus has embroidered details and is filled with hypoallergenic hollow fiber. It is made of 100% cotton yarn certified with the OEKO-TEX STANDARD 100 class 1, suitable for babies from birth. The toy's height is approximately 15 cm, when stretched 25 cm.
